Good Morning! Happy Presidents Day to those of you here in the U.S and Happy Family Day to my wonderful friends and family in Canada. This past weekend was a busy one, normally I would have done Fashion Pins of the Week over the weekend but here it is better late than never. Last week was busy here at NYC Fit Food Fashion due to all of the fashion week coverage. I was not the only one covering fashion week I found thousands of fabulous pins from the week on pinterest. The shows were amazing, with my favorite being the Nanette Lepore show. Nanette did an amazing job, I had to mention it again because it is the one show I can not get off my mind. For the pins this week I have included show looks and street style that was seen around NYC last week. We all know that the street style sometimes is just as amazing as the show styles. Let’s take a look at some of the pins that I found on pinterest from NYFW Fall 2014:

Good Afternoon Fashion Lovers! I have to say that yesterdays Nanette Lepore show was my favorite of the week. I may be slightly biased since Nanette has been my favorite designer for a few years now and I do own some of her beautiful work and cherish it. The show started off yesterday with a gorgeous color palette of berry tones. The colors were so gorgeous, almost as gorgeous as the luxe fabrics that were chosen for the pieces. I loved the feminine touches and the use of chiffon. It was a departure from all the masculine inspired pieces that I have seen this week and I am crazy about it. The dress pictured above is definitely on my list of must haves for fall. As always Nanette used some of the best prints of the week. This lady I tell you can really work a print. Here is a look at some of the great pieces from the Nanette Lepore Fall 2014 showing:
What was your favorite show of the whole week?

We are almost at the end of New York Fashion Week Fall 2014. I have been loving the collections that have been shown so far this past week. I have a hard time picking a favorite every day to write a post about. I am just have to write some additional posts at the end of this. Picking from yesterdays shows was really hard I went with Tory Burch because I could not get over how everything was so luxe right down to the accessories.Such as the fur muff turned handbag pictured above. Speaking of accessories what did you all thin of her sock and heels combination?
This past week Tory Burch also celebrated it’s 10 year anniversary as a brand. After such a great showing on Tuesday, Burch really has something to celebrate! Let’s take a look at some of the outfits that were presented at the Tory Burch Fall 2014 show.

What show are you really looking forward to seeing today?
Milly by Michelle Smith is one of my all time favorite lines. Definitely has been in my top 5 for the last few years and Milly did not disappoint in yesterdays show. I really loved the mix of dark colors with neutrals, sequins and the many textures. Like a lot of the shows this week there was some fur thrown in there as well. I am not the only Milly by Michelle Smith fan, seen in the front row was Anna Kendrick and Solange Knowles. I really loved this collection, there was a real dark and luxurious feel to it. Let’s check out some of the looks that Milly by Michelle Smith had to offer for Fall 2014.
I love this black and white jacket! Just gorgeous!
Michelle Smith looking fabulous with her little one! I love the shoes.
Due to New York City fashion week coverage Tuesday shoesday will be returning next week. What was your favorite show yesterday? Also what are your thoughts on all the fur and textures we are seeing this week? Will you be daring enough to wear them?

What has been your favorite show this week? Are there any things that you are seeing on the runways that you do not think will interpret well on the streets?
I loved the Lela Rose show. It is a shame that a lot of the articles that I have read today focused on the fact that yes, a model fell on the runway during the show. Let’s just get past that and move on to haw fabulous the pieces were in the show. There were so many amazing textures with, detail embellishments such as feathers, crystals, lace, and jacquard. This was fashion at it’s best and I was in love with the color choices and the beautiful neutrals. Here is a look at some of the outstanding pieces from Lela Rose.
What did you think of the Lela Rose Fall 2014 Collection?

Mara Hoffman’s Fall 2014 showing yesterday was amazing. Mara is known for showcasing bold and vibrant print s and her Fall 2014 collection is no different. Obviously inspired by African prints for this collection Hoffman featured beaded caftans, slim pants, ponchos and some inspiring prints. I loved seeing all the elaborate work put into making these prints come alive. Here is a look at some of the beautiful pieces Mara Hoffman presented yesterday:
