Hello Monday Morning! Mondays can be hard for a lot of people. I have been using Monday to share motivation quotes with all of you. I love Mondays it is a chance to start a fresh week. I normally focus on fitness when I am picking a motivation quote. Today’s motivational quote you can apply to all three rules to every area of your life. This quote is courtesy of QuoteParade.com
I know so many people in my life that could use all three of these steps. If you look at successful people they usually follow these life rules. Go after what you want, ask for what you want and step forward. In order to step forward you need to stop focusing on past failures. This last step is so important. We are all guilty of at one time being stuck in the same spot out of fear of failure or repeating past mistakes. If we do not step forward we can never progress.
When I was young I grew up in a negative environment and was not taught these life lessons. For those of you that are parents look at these rules and see how you can teach them to your children. I wish that someone had told me how to succeed and how to be a more positive person. I will be having my first child this month and raising them to be positive and to possess self-confidence has been weighing heavily on my mind. I had always worried that since that was not instilled in me at a young age would I be able to teach this to my kids. What I keep telling myself is that knowledge is power. Since I have taught these things to myself I will make sure these are really important life lessons that I can give to me child.
Whether you are working on a fitness, health, love, relationship, work and just life goals you can apply this motivational quote to those goals. I hope as you move forward this week that you will keep these three rules in mind. As always, live with a positive attitude and you will get so much farther. What are some of the goals that you are working towards right now?
Happy Weekend everyone! It was finally a warm day here in NYC. Spring is definitely on its way! With the nice weather we spent some time walking today and even took the dog out for a long stroll. I also did not hit the gym and did indulge in some treats. I can not say no to mini eggs when offered, I blame that on Jon! Jillian Michaels has always been an inspiration to me. When looking for a new quote to post this week I immediately thought of her. I found this one and find it to be so true. I have posted many times about how important diet is, even more important than exercise. We all deserve a treat once in a while but when you do not have the time to work out for a bit because we all know life can get in the way, make sure to eat well. Have a great weekend!
Good Afternoon Readers! I am a little late on my fashion quote this week. I love this one by Ralph Lauren and I hope you do too. Have a fantastic rest of the afternoon!
Good Morning and Happy Monday everyone! This is a food quote but also falls into fitness as well. People often wonder why they work out but do not see the results that they want to see. Weight loss, muscle gain, and especially abs are not just something that happens in the gym. Diet is the most important element in achieving the fitness goals that you do have. The leanest and fittest I have ever been was because of how careful I was with what I was eating. I barely strayed from that food schedule and I saw results. My workout routine really did not change it was all about how I ate. It is great to have treats now and then but the more you have them the less you will see the results that you want. You just have to decide what it is that you want more, that cupcake or that body you have been working for. I admit the cupcake does win out on many occasions but that is ok too! Just a little something to think about today.
Happy Monday Fashionista’s! I know this one is late but here is the fashion quote of the week. I love SJP. She has always been one of my favorite fashion icons. This woman has style. Do you dress for the cold or dress the way you want to dress?
Happy Sunday everyone! I hope you are all enjoying the day and I know a lot of you will be eating tons of yummy Super Bowl foods. Remember to get back on track tomorrow!
Happy Sunday Fashionista’s! I hope that you are all having a fantastic weekend. Tonight is the grammy awards. Are you watching? Who has the best red carpet fashion so far?
Hey Fitness Lovers! How is everyone’s weekend going? I hope you find some time to fit in a workout. Today was my rest day but I will be back in the gym tomorrow! What are your fitness plans?
Happy Saturday everyone! How was everyone’s week? I hope that you are still on track over the holidays and keeping up with your 2014 goals. I have been doing my best to keep up with the healthy eating but it has been a struggle this week. We actually still have left over chocolate from the holidays in the house. I have been much better at the exercise part than the healthy eating. I will do better next week! Have a great weekend guys!
Happy New Year Foodies! I love this food manifesto. I have been trying to eat more real whole foods and will continue to do so this upcoming year. Try it out and just make small little changes to your eating every week and it will make a big difference in your life. What are your food resolutions for the New Year??
